Guest Resume: Walter M. Yoka, Esq. 

Walter Yoka (Wally) is a nationally recognized trial attorney focused on litigating cases involving products liability, commercial disputes and class actions. In addition to having tried numerous high- profile cases to verdict, he has also successfully argued in California’s Supreme and Appellate courts.

Wally is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), previously serving as the 2014 President of the Los Angeles chapter. He also serves on the Executive Board and is the immediate past-President of CAL-ABOTA and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. 

Wally is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Counsel and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC). He previously served as President of the ASCDC and was also President of the California Defense Counsel. Wally was inducted into the ASCDC Hall of Fame in 2008.

Wally has received many recognitions and awards. To list a few, he has been recognized as a Super Lawyer every year since 2004 and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2006.

Monty is a past president of the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego Chapter of ABOTA, a Master in the Enright Inn of Court, a recipient of two Outstanding Trial Lawyer awards, and a past member of the ABOTA National Board of Directors, National Conference of Bar Presidents, ABA House of Delegates, and the ABA Standing Committee on Judicial Independence. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2012, and for over 30 years has been rated by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent Attorney.
