Denise Taylor is one of the two founding partners of Taylor DeMarco LLP. For the past 42 years, she has defended doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in medical and dental malpractice cases. Ms. Taylor has tried or arbitrated over 150 cases and has special expertise in high exposure cases involving birth injuries and other catastrophic damages. She has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including being recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Southern California Super Lawyers, Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, and as Top Woman Litigator by the Los Angeles Daily Journal. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Denise is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She served as the 2012 President of the Los Angeles Chapter of ABOTA, and in 2017 was President of the California Chapters of ABOTA—CAL-ABOTA. She served on ABOTA’s National Executive Committee as Treasurer from 2014-2016. She continues to serve on the National Board of ABOTA, and chaired or co-chaired of many committees, including the Diversity and Long-Range Planning Committees, and the Presidential Task Force. Ms. Taylor was President of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) in 2013. She is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.  She is also a member of the California Medical Legal Committee.
