Cindy is a highly experienced plaintiff's trial lawyer who has consistently obtained outstanding trial results for her clients in medical malpractice and other tort cases. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and an Advocate in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. In 2019, Cindy was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. She was named the Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1994 by the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. Cindy has obtained 8 Outstanding Trial Lawyer or Advocate awards, and she has been consistently named as one of the top plaintiff medical malpractice lawyers in California. Cindy served as the president of the San Diego Trial Lawyers in 1992 and 1993. She served as the president of the San Diego ABOTA Chapter in 2008, and also served on the board of CAL-ABOTA and the National Board of Directors of ABOTA. In 2007, Cindy received the Daniel T. Broderick III Professionalism and Civility Award, which recognizes a San Diego attorney who demonstrates the highest levels of civility, integrity and professionalism.
